(A4) Data Terms
Data Blending - is a process whereby big data from multiple sources are merged into a single data set. It concerns not merely the merging of different file formats or disparate sources of data but also different varieties of data.
Data sampling - is a statistical analysis technique used to select, manipulate and analyze a representative subset of data points to identify patterns and trends in the larger data set being examined.
Interoperability - is the ability of different information systems, devices and applications (‘systems’) to access, exchange, integrate and cooperatively use data in a coordinated manner, within and across organizational, regional and national boundaries, to provide timely and seamless portability of information and optimize the health of individuals and populations globally
Data Store - is a repository for persistently storing and managing collections of data which include not just repositories like databases, but also simpler store types such as simple files, emails etc. A database is a series of bytes that is managed by a database management system.
Database - is a collection of information that is organized so that it can be easily accessed, managed and updated. Computer databases typically contain aggregations of data records or files, containing information about sales transactions or interactions with specific customers.
Data Architecture - is a framework built to transfer data from one location to another, efficiently. It is full of models and rules that govern what data is to be collected. It also controls how the collected data should be stored, arranged, integrated and put to use in data systems of an organization
A1: The key words that I used in Cyber Security Project are Sensitive Data, Cloud Services,Cyber Security Law, Intrusion and Detection, Risk analysis and mitigation.
ReplyDeleteA3:
Data Blending: Data blending is about working with multiple sources of data by preparing them and joining them together for a specific use case at a specific time.
Interoperability: It helps in sharing the information without any restrictions among the components via any hardware or software. It can be defined as the exchange of information and resources between different computers.
Database: Database, any collection of data, or information, that is specially organized for rapid search and retrieval by a computer. Databases are structured to facilitate the storage, retrieval, modification, and deletion of data in conjunction with various data-processing operations.

Google Trends is a great tool or public web facility of Google Incorporated. it shows how often a particular search term is entered relative to the total search-volume across various regions of the world and in various languages. It was used in my project to compare the level of use of IOT in certain countries around the world.
Data Studio is another amazing free tool created by Google, that lets users make custom reports with data from Google’s marketing services and external sources. Accessing the data after creating the report is my issue with the product.
