My concerns regard fixing facial recognition to be inclusive. There are articles about AI showing prejudice towards minorities. AI has learned racism from the internet. It's important to keep these systems in check.

My short term goal is to evaluate and if possible implement a plan to leave my current full time position, find a part time job that meets certain requirements, attend school full time, and join a school club. Reply to A2: Every leap we have taken has caused growing pains and forced adaption. It is not wise for anyone to get complacent and not have the imagination that their world will change. It's easy to get comfortable and lose the ability to adapt to new circumstances. It's best to take nothing for granted, even what seemed to be a secure job. That's why we're in school. I believe the next advancements in artificial intelligence are going to be heavily focused on public transit areas. I believe the advancements will be a system that picks up on habits, facial expressions, and actions of people who intend to perform terrorist acts and also learn from past terrorist acts to help predict future events.

My concerns with AI is that since AI learns a lot from us people, a person can possibly influence the AI system and turn it into a weapon of sorts and end up causing more harm than good.

Master the Expats system in my workplace as well as TravelSafe and be able to create a manual for other co-workers to ensure they can learn the systems with ease without leaving any questions lingering.
What is my result/outcome?
The result of mastering these programs would be allowing the rest of the team as well as new hires to easily learn the systems allowing them to use the applications with ease which in turn creates good client relationships.
What is my purpose?
This is important because it will allow my daily tasks to be minimized due to the fact when the Global Command Center team can aid in using these systems, it will lighten my daily workload allowing me to focus on more “key” areas or areas that need more attention from me.
What is my massive action?
The massive action will be to utilize the systems daily, as well as a mass email asking for common questions and concerns with these systems. In turn I can look for answers for these questions allowing me to create a Common Questions section on the manual created.

I believe the next advance in AI will be related to the health sector, recently, Microsoft has released some pieces of information regarding AI and the improvement of health in communities around the globe, the AI initiative will have goals such as: Accelerating medical research to advance prevention, diagnoses, and treatment; Increasing our shared understanding of mortality and longevity to protect against global health crises; Reducing health inequality and improving access to care for underserved population.
What are your concerns with AI?(A2)
My biggest concern with AI is how compromised will our security be, from credit card to national security matters. I feel that AI is a tool too "Naive" and easy to manipulate, we don't know its capability and if the wrong people get access to it, are we going to be able to stop them?

ReplyDeleteA2. I think the next advancement of AI is to start making them more human like so as to solve certain problems that were usually done by humans maybe something in the medical field. For example helping diagnose or help treat patients without the doctors having to come up and theorize for unknown or difficult to solve problems. My concerns are more on the fact that AI can become much more intelligent to the point that certain programs might cause harm or do certain things that are not ok.

The next advancement in AI is going to be creating a program which can do human works on space and travel long distance like 200 million light years at least. If the next generation of AI is deep learning – which is a self-taught AI - then the program can learn and store the data and send it via micro devices to the earth.
The other advancement might be the nano-devices that can be programmed to heal people by injecting their body. Those nano devices can find the broken cells or DNAs to repair them.
I don’t really have concern about AI except if they don’t create a unbreakable language and start communicating with each other like in the movies. :)

A1: Multilingual, effectively manage time, good working relationship, good communication, committed and work with honesty and integrity.
A2: Artificial Intelligence: Sounds fancy and exiting as it is making things easier for humans. In my opinion as much as it is making human lives easier, but the culture of independency and pride is decreasing. Technology took over human lives. I agree it is useful and helpful at some point.

A3: I believe the AI next advancement will be human robot that will be deployed in the working industries, and human will no longer drive the cars as the car will drive themselves,
What are your concerns with?
A4: My concern is the negative side of the AI, if there could be robots that are invented to work on the industries, how many people will be unemployed, how many accidents will occur with the cars that drives themselves. My personal opinion that, given the current pace of technological advancement, these sorts of estimates are very difficult, if not impossible, to make. As such, here are just a few of my guesses as to what technology, some new, other improved versions of what’s already mainstream today, will become an integral part of society in the future.
What are your concerns with? Right now, is integrating technology into wearable devices. that answer your phone calls (like the Apple Watch) are just a few products that are very popular right now. Industry experts believe we’re just scratching the surface, though.

Similarly, you need a massive action plan to achieve your goals. You can’t just set goals with the hopes of achieving them at some point in your life. (A2) What are your concerns with AI? I would not want a machine to know my personal life or be able to track what I do with my life. Especially when these things listen to your conversations without you knowing about it. Another thing that concerns me is that machines might be able to replace humans and leave them unemployed.
(A4) Goals for the next 2-3 months. I would like to be able to understand technology a little better and be able to use everything in a computer. For example I would like to be able to use and understand how my macbook works.
The action that it's going to require is more time researching things that I should be doing with the macbook.
I have the same kind of concern with AI ( A2.- Answer) because technology is getting so advanced, and most corporations will rather use machines instead of humans being for faster, more reliable services and to save more money on wages.

Let’s start by describing what AI is. It’s a broad branch of computer science. Its goal is to create systems that can function intelligently and independently. An example of that is commercial Flights Using an AI Autopilot, Robocalls, Robo-readers and so on. I believe the next advancements in AI would something like Military robots like just it has been showing in many movies or it would be used in the medical field to save more lives.

One of my biggest concern about the technology itself, it’s that it makes some individuals very lazy because we rely on a learning-machine or program to do everything for us. Example of that is: self- driving car like Tesla, Uber. I also have a concern about privacy and safety issues. Like Amazon Alexa, simply known as Alexa, who’s always listening. No one really knows what kind of information is really being kept in the vault.
