ReplyDeleteA2: I've had Raspberry Pi shut down/freeze up plenty. Usually ended up being a crappy file I installed or simply overworked. It's good to remember what your systems are capable of. I still need to add heat sinks to the rpi running my arcade. I've had to scrap the SD card and start from scratch for the Rpi a few times. Failures are great lessons. As for my laptop, luckily it's set up for IT work and gives me no problems. (Hope I didn't jinx it!) My cheaper craptop I use for home projects definitely can't keep up and has several safety issues. Whenever I've been hit with an unusual problem, google is my best friend. There are so many helpful forums. And github is a great resource when I need to update some programming.
A3: The most challenging part is I have no internship/ work experience in the field. I feel I'll be able to answer those questions genuinely after I get a bit further in my studies and get an internship under my belt.
A4: Google Data Studio is way to present reports in a professional and attractive manner.
A5: The Data Scientist is using their knowledge to predict trends/possible outcomes. The Scientist plays the "what if" game. Whereas the Analyst simply analyzes the data and gives the facts. Statistics and proficiency with programs like SQL would be the beginning necessities.

ReplyDeleteA2 My laptop freezes sometimes when I open too many tabs and download files. It does make some noise and shuts down the pages I opened. It shuts down with the error code and message and reboots the system on its own. One of my laptops has been in the storage because the screen has blacked out. I tried it many times to revive it, took it to the technician as well. The technician suggested to buy new one rather than to fix.
A3 When I prepare for interview, everything is crystal clear until the interviewer fires the question like where do you see yourself in 5 years/10 years. I have plans but that plans may not go accordingly.
A4 Google data studio helps reporting the results which helps in making the decisions that has an ability to tell you about the potential customers and revenues. Data can be tracked in spread sheet. While reviewing the customer trends, we can pull the data from the spread sheet and apply it effectively to market the product and increase the potentiality of the company.
A5 Data Scientist and Data Analyst do not have major differences. The academic qualifications and set of skills that are need to get the job done has been the major differences. But sometimes, the set o f skills can overcome the academic qualifications. While I was watching the third video, most of the candidates learn the skills on the job or watching youtube videos which is quite interesting for me as I had very different approach to the qualifications which makes me hopeful of being one in future.

Video issue: Some Pc has multiple slot for VGA, you can try different slot. If the issue follows then you should change the hardware.
Sometimes you have bad bios battery or bad memory if the system is not passing the post process.

Skills could very broad and depend on the position that you are applying for.

- Sometimes my computer would lock itself and be offline, and I had no idea what was happening or how to solve the problem because it was something new to me. I asked my friend for help and I was worried and thought of taking it back to the store I bought it from because it was still brand new. My friend rebooted the computer and went to the settings, then troubleshooter and she fixed the problem.

- The first question is the one that is always challenging, it is confusing to understand how you are expected to answer that question. I always tell everything about myself that is not relevant to the job. Now I know that this question has nothing to do with my hobbies, it is specifically asked based on the career or job I applied for and in this question I am given a platform to sell myself as to why will I be a strong fit to the position. I am also impressed how the interviewee answered the question “why do you want this particular IT job”?....I am now at a stage in my career where I feel ready for a new challenge where I can test and push my skills to the limit. I have”. To me he shows passion and the way he is selling himself does not show any sign of desperation. which is a good thing. It’s like he says I’m an asset, we need each other if you do give me the job you will lose.

- The difference I may say is that data scientist is more into the techniques of gathering data and a data analyst would be involved mining of the data to bring useful results. Sometimes a data scientist can also analyze the data they gather. They are almost the same.
- Data Science: should be familiar with database systems. Have understanding of various analytical functions such as median ranks etc and how to use them on data sets. Should have deep statistical insights and machine learning.
- Data Analyst: Familiar with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. Should be in depth exposure of SQL and analytics. Data storing and retrieving skills and tools. Proficiency in decision making. (online source: google.com/search)

ReplyDeleteA2) I was running Cisco packet tracer when suddenly I could not input anything and the screen was frozen. I performed a reboot, only to get the blue screen of death. I followed the troubleshooting steps, later I uninstalled/ reinstalled the packet tracer.

ReplyDelete(A1) IT TROUBLESHOOTING: Things that can be included or added in the first step can be, ask questions to a coworker if the job that its been done is being done in a team. For what I saw the steps and procedure that were taken for the troubleshooting were very simple and basic.
(A2) Yes, I have solved something similar before with my computer. The problem that I had was that I would be using an app and all of the sudden the computer would take me back to the homepage. So what I did was, I restarted the computer and that solved my problem.
(A3) The question that I found most challenging was the one that asks what are the most important skills in IT and why. The reason why I found/find this question challenging is because I get nervous and personally I don't really Know what the employer wants to hear.
(A4) what is google data? Google data is an app or website that allows us to do multiple things with it. For example it allows us to take something from google and make it a grafth. It also allows us to use info from different apps like google docs, which also lets us turn numbers into grafths.

I have had to resolve an issue with one of our IP cameras that we have at my work site. One of the cameras kept disconnecting and showing “device disconnected”. After reviewing all the firmware, physical hardware etc i was able to figure out that the drivers needed to be updated. Once the drivers were updated the camera was back to running smooth and no more hiccups.

The sample question I found most challenging was the “What attracted you to our company?” I find this question difficult to answer because a lot of times I find that yes many do look into the company but the main answer a lot of people gravitate towards is either the money or location of the job site. I feel this is hard to answer because you want to be honest but also want to give an answer that will make you stand out from the rest.

Google data studio is a way for one to compile data from different data sets in a appealing sort of manner to easier compare sets of data. Some uses for this is to compare many different data sets including jobs in demand as well as looking at data from most common google searches in your area which can help one look at jobs in demand in your local area, ones that are maybe least likely to be in need etc.

Data scientists are able to predict certain aspects from previous data fairly accurately whereas data analysts go over day-to-day data and daily business aspects. The data scientists will be able to help predict what problems solved will hold the most value to the business. Some skills one would need for both these positions is critical thinking, must be able to present their findings in a neat understandable manner, understanding statistics and how to analyze them, be proficient in excel, SQL, these are some important skills to know to be able to perform in both these fields.

A 1. The basic problem-solving process remains the same even if the problems identified differ. In fact, the more complex the problem is, the more important it is to be methodical in your problem-solving approach.
Troubleshooting methodology is how to fix our computer or devices we have to know the cause or error messages, and recreate the problem. Resist the urge to start fixing things at this step
• Identify the problem
• Determine if anything has changed.
• To test that theory of probable case
• Implement and test the solution.
• Identify the results and effects of the solution.
• Document the solution and the entire process write down. To help the next person.
Symptoms are all outcomes of a single root problem so solving the root problem will resolve many related problems. The problem identification important to public, we need to make sure we are identifying the true, primary problem causing the public health issue, and this is not always obvious.
A2. When I was using your computer, there’s really nothing more unexpected than having my entire computer turn off suddenly. It suddenly is a black screen. I don’t have any error messages. There was no warning. I was working fine, and then suddenly my computer turns itself off.
The hardware common problems are

Yes, I did, last December, When I was using a desk top. It’s suddenly a black screen. I don’t have any error messages. There was no warning. I was working fine, and then suddenly my computer turns itself off. the first thing I picked my phone and google it, because there is so little warning and usually no error message that we can reference with these unexpected shutdowns, it becomes a lot more difficult to troubleshoot. So, what I may want to do is find out what’s working and start eliminating one thing after another until you find the single component that’s causing these unexpected shutdowns. The problem blank monitor If the computer is on but the screen is blank, there may be an issue with the connection between the computer and the screen. First, I check to see if the monitor is plugged into a PowerPoint and that the connection between the monitor and computer hard drive is secure. I make sure the computer is plugged in and turned on, automatically my PC start.
A 3. The most common interview questions, tell me about yourself? This is a very tricky and important question for a company to know about you and your past skills are an easy way to judge. Most applicants are extremely smart, and setting yourself apart in this process can be challenging, the format and types of questions of the PST are determined in advance and there can’t be any surprises on that front.

A data analyst will solve the questions given by the business while a data scientist will formulate questions whose solutions are likely to benefit the business.

ReplyDeleteA2) When I was in college my computer had a virus. Whenever I open a new tab that virus was taking over the control and opens multiple random tabs. Of course, in that time I had no idea about fixing it. So, I asked my friend and he gave me the instruction to fix it. In that time, I didn’t have a virus protection, so he suggested to take the computer’s date one week back. That didn’t clean my computer from virus, but it inactivates the virus.
A3) The most important skills in IT can be vary for the positions you apply. However, those positions also have the common requirements that you have to have. For instance, project management, analytical thinking and ability to recognize problems etc..

ReplyDeleteA2: Sometimes while I am using my computer and when I am doing some work in Microsoft Office then the file close and doesn’t let me open it then what I do is restart the computer and then after few times it works.
A3: I think the important thing for interview is self-confidence and positive attitude. The challenging question that I find was how you would begin a newly assigned IT project as I don’t have much experience for this right now.

I have mostly experienced and solved problems related to networking and computer performance.
example: I worked at a company where we had an issue with routers that were set to be static and no dynamic when one of the routers went down, we had to figure out why the information wasn't been sent to its destination even tho there was a connection to a second router.

the hardest question for me is 'tell me about yourself and why you will be a good fit for this position?". I always struggle with this type of question due to my insecurity, I feel that the best way around it is to truly believe in what you are capable of and your skills.

The Word "troubleshooting" already emphasizes there might be a problem that needs extra care or is to be solved. Troubleshooting, it's something we all do in our everyday lives without even realizing it. The video illustrates step-by-step how to perform such action if ever been faced with technical difficulties with our computer.
The only thing I would add is that sometimes it's not a hardware or software issue, but a user issue.

From past experiences, my desktop monitor went " BLACK" on me a couple of times. The first thing that came to mind was like " Oh, no...! I have to spend more money! However, I took a step back. I checked all the wires connected to the back of the PC & did a Hard Reboot, and that ended up solving the problem.
(A.-3) In my view, this IT Interview video only applies to individuals who already have a great deal of experience in the IT field. With that being said, I wouldn't know how to begin a newly assigned IT project unless I am fully trained on it. In another, I wouldn't able to back up my great interview even I have learned all the proper answers from not having any experience.

A2 My Pc has sometimes troubleshooting problems and one of the most frequent is when everything freezes the system completely stops. I usually check for any activity regarding the hard drive, status lights and try the command Ctrl+Alt+Del. The probable cause is the low RAM, storage and therefore the system is unstable. At times a restart is all the pc needs to function at a normal speed and capacity.
A3 By watching the interview I realized that is important to be confident and have a desire to continually improve and develop to stay at the top of your game within the industry. This is crucial because IT is a flexible fast-moving structure that changes shape continually to fit our perceptions and needs. Its applications in todays world are limitless. Imagine if we did not have this technology today the virtual interaction and learning would not be possible. The question surprised me because they were very basic questions that you would normally expect in an interview. I really loved the fact that answers were included that helps you visualize the approach you must take on the question and not forget that you are in an interview.
A4 Google Data studio is a free reporting tool made available by google. This tool is very helpful to create google data reports. You can create google sheets reports, google analytic reports by using data that you have available. There are a variety of ways to represent the data using this tool, you can create graphic representation, pie charts, tables of information that can be easily managed, altered and reframed. The potential use of this program is anywhere there is a need for sorting and analyzing also presenting data in a meaningful way.
A5 A difference between a data scientist and a data analyst is that a data scientist has a job that requires more sophisticated skills and more knowledge regarding R or and Python. Usually being a data scientist also requires a higher level of education such as a PhD. A data analyst must be able to analyze logically the data and be able to draw conclusions based on the information he has. On the other hand, a data scientist has also the ability to gather the data that he needs from different outside sources and filter it. He can navigate the broad pools filled with data and by using programming filter the information that he will afterword use to draw the conclusions based on what the research is based upon. Both jobs require great analytical skills, knowledge of R and Python, intellectual approach.
